Karate Spirit Echoed in Kota: Over 300 Players Showcased Their Strength in “Battle Ground Series-2”

Kota, Rajasthan: The Raghurai Endo Sports Complex, Nayapura, Kota, witnessed an electrifying atmosphere as the state-level karate championship “Karate Battle Ground Series-2” was successfully organized. The event brought together over 300 players from across the state, who showcased their talent, skill, and determination in various categories.

The tournament was graced by Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Hemanand Saraswati Maharaj as the Chief Guest. He blessed the participants and motivated the winners with his encouraging words.

Speaking about the unique feature of this championship, Organizing Secretary Sensei Ravi Prajapati said:

“For the first time in India, the ‘Flagless Scoring System’ was introduced on a trial basis in this competition. This is a historic step toward making karate more transparent and modern.”

The tournament was directed by Sensei Angsjoy Das and coordinated by Sensei Lalit Vairagi, with supervision by Shihan Nimai Haldar (R.C. Chairman, R.K.A. & G.S., Kota District Karate Association) and Sensei Keshav Singh (former senior player). The title sponsor for the event was LNCT University, Bhopal.

 

In the championship results, Sensei Kulveer Tanwar’s team from Bhawanimandi clinched the Championship Trophy along with a cash prize of ₹51,000/-, while Sensei Lalit Vairagi’s team from Udaipur secured the Runner-up Trophy and a cash prize of ₹21,000/-.

At the closing ceremony, Rachna Sharma (Lecturer, Physical Education, Kota DIET) and Dr. Dolly Tenguria (Senior Physical Education Teacher, Jaipur) congratulated the winners and emphasized:

“Such tournaments not only develop sportsmanship and discipline among youth but also inspire them with self-confidence and inner strength.”

 

Mr. Harsh Maheshwari said on Winning the Senior Men Open Kumite at Karate Battle Ground – Series 2 –

 

“I feel truly honored to have won the Senior Men Open Kumite title at Karate Battle Ground – Series 2. The championship was a fantastic platform that brought together highly skilled athletes from across different regions, and the level of competition was very intense. Every bout tested not only my strength and technique but also my focus and spirit.

I would like to sincerely thank the organizers of Karate Battle Ground – Series 2 for creating such a professional, well-managed, and motivating environment for all participants. The arrangements, the discipline, and the spirit of fair play made this event memorable for everyone.

This championship is not just about winning medals—it’s about promoting karate, inspiring athletes, and taking the sport to greater heights. I am proud to be part of this journey and look forward to more such opportunities in the future.”

The championship itself was organized very well, and I must appreciate the efforts of the Karate Battle Ground – Series 2 organizers for giving athletes such a professional platform. Events like this are crucial for nurturing talent, raising the competitive standard, and spreading the true spirit of karate.
